MCRS, a leading supplier of information systems to the hospitality industry, today announced the results for its fiscal 2001 second quarter ended December 31, 2000. Revenue for the quarter was $80.1 million with a net loss of $1.0 million, or a $0.06 loss per diluted share. Excluding the impact of after-tax expenses related to the acquisition of Hospitality Solutions International (HSI), company headcount reduction costs, and negative currency translation, net income for the quarter was $0.3 million. Last year's second quarter revenue was $102.7 million with a net income of $8.6 million, and earnings per share, on a diluted basis, of $0.48.
