IDeaS Revenue Solutions, the leading provider of revenue management software, services and consulting, today announced the appointment of Markus Lechleitner as consultant for IDeaS Hospitality Consulting. Lechleitner joins IDeaS with nearly 20 years of experience in the hotel industry, specifically in revenue management. He will be responsible for providing IDeaS' clients in the Americas region expert advisement for all revenue management, forecasting and price optimization needs.

He joined IDeaS from Millennium Hotels & Resorts, where, as complex director of revenue management, he was responsible for the development and implementation of revenue management strategies for three hotels as well as mentoring revenue managers across all U.S. properties. Prior to that, Lechleitner served as the director of revenue management for the Millennium Knickerbocker Hotel Chicago. In this position, he managed all electronic distribution and implementation of strategies and continuously improved the Knickerbocker's RevPAR index over the comp set.
