Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise Selects Newmarket International’s Delphi® Sales and Catering Solution for its Multi-Property Casinos

Portsmouth, NH | Newmarket International, Inc., the leader in sales and catering solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced that Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise, owner of Arizona’s premier entertainment and gaming destinations, selected Newmarket International’s leading group sales and catering application, Delphi Multi Property Edition® (MPE). The company will implement the multi-property solution across its Desert Diamond Casino and Desert Diamond Casino Hotel properties in order to manage its group sales, meetings and events business.

“The Delphi solution was appealing to us for several reasons. We will be able to roll up reporting for both facilities, giving our management team access to the critical data they need for decision making,” said Steve Rogers, Director of Information Technology at Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise. “In addition, we will gain efficiencies for the staff and management as well as have the ability to pre-sell our casino hotel which is currently under construction.”

Desert Diamond Casino Hotel is the first and only casino in southern Arizona with a hotel and boasts substantial meeting space of over 8,000 square feet and "The Monsoon," a 4,240-square foot nightclub. With the addition of the new hotel, the Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise sought a robust sales and catering software application that would integrate with different Property Management Systems (PMS). With its strong integration capabilities, Delphi MPE was the perfect solution. The two properties will be able to pass data and real-time availability for its properties between Delphi and the PMS. The ability to cross-sell and up-sell between its two premier properties as well as have immediate access to availability will give Tohono O’odham Gaming Enterprise an edge in accommodating the needs of meeting and event planners. Moreover, the Delphi MPE solution will be able to manage the growth of both the Desert Diamond Casino and Desert Diamond Casino Hotel locations.
