Newmarket International Appoints Steve Lambert Managing Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa

Newmarket International, Inc., a leader in software solutions for the hospitality industry, has announced the appointment of Steve Lambert as Managing Director, Newmarket EMEA (UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa.) Mr. Lambert has extensive experience in management and business development in the hospitality, property management, and IT sectors.

Mr. Lambert comes to Newmarket International from Chesterfield Global, an international property management firm, where he was Managing Director. He brings a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry in Europe, having served as Acting Managing Director for Whitbread Hotel Company and as Finance and Systems Director for Premier Travel Inn. Mr. Lambert has also worked for DeVere Group, Plc., and for Dixons Stores Group in London. He is a graduate of Oxford University and holds an MBA from Manchester and McGill business schools.

Dan Hiza, who has been leading the growth of Newmarket EMEA since 1999, will move into the Vice President Business Development position, focusing on strategic customer and partner relationships and market development.
