Carlson Hotels Worldwide Goes Live with MeetingBroker (sm)
933 Properties Get the Delphi® Sales Advantage
5 June 2006

Carlson Hotels Worldwide, with 933 properties in 69 countries, has gone live with MeetingBroker, Newmarket International Inc.’s web-based lead management system, as part of its application portfolio. Carlson Hotels Worldwide, a subsidiary of Carlson Companies, includes five major hotel brands, Regent International Hotels, Radisson Hotels & Resorts®, Park Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, Country Inns & Suites By CarlsonSM, and Park Inn. ®. Newmarket International, Inc. is the world’s leading provider of sales and catering technology solutions for the hospitality industry.

According to Catherine Kent, Director of Sales and Marketing for Radisson Hotel Boston, “MeetingBroker has greatly improved our ability to respond to our customers. We have a four-hour RFP response time guaranty, and MeetingBroker makes that possible. It has eliminated “Out of Office” replies and lost opportunities. RFPs are channeled to the appropriate sales person and responded to in a timely manner. The best part about the system is its full integration with Delphi - so that once an account is entered, there is no need to re-enter information. All the data is there and it’s all reportable. MeetingBroker has made our sales department a lot more efficient.”

MeetingBroker is a powerful web-based lead management system that allows for quick evaluation and near-immediate response time. It ensures that leads do not get lost or go unanswered. RFPs are received through a hotel’s website or other on-line channel and are automatically integrated into the Delphi sales and catering system. Leads can be routed to a sister property using MeetingBroker’s powerful redirect tool to maintain business within a company’s portfolio. MeetingBroker allows properties to capture all their leads, even the ones they need to pass on, analyze true seasonal demand, and build a comprehensive database for future marketing efforts.

“Carlson Hotels Worldwide is one of the world’s great hotel companies,” noted Sean O’Neill, President and Chief Executive Officer, Newmarket International. “Their selection of Delphi and MeetingBroker affirms our product platform and position in the marketplace. We are glad to play an integral role in improving their sales effectiveness.”
