Key features of Newmarket’s updated Delphi BI solution, which already is field-tested and adopted by nearly 300 hotels, include:
- High-performing, fault-tolerant Warehouse and Extract Transform Load (ETL) capabilities for rapid extraction of multiple properties’ data on a nightly basis from either Delphi Single or Multi-Property Editions. The warehouse is designed to deliver maximum flexibility and functionality, while minimizing storage size and transfer times.
- Support for leading analytical and reporting tools, such as Cognos®, Crystal® and Microsoft® On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP) Services, so each Delphi BI customer can select the tool appropriate for their budget, internal reporting skills and analytical needs.
- Published catalogs and documentation for use by internal and third-party reporting groups in the development of custom marts, cubes and reports.
- For the growing number of global customers, Delphi BI provides multi-currency support allowing users to define the base currency of a Delphi BI warehouse and all contributing properties, and to convert currency values to the warehouse’s base currency for true aggregate Business Intelligence.
- A warehouse that contains performance and historical data to support OLAP and reporting applications such as:
- Catering Performance reports;
- Sales Manager Performance and Forecast Management reports and dynamic views;
- Global (multi-currency) Pace and Production reporting; and
- Drill-down views into multiple dimensions such as property, market segment, quality rating and SIC.
- Re-usable, extensible Hospitality Data Marts, Cubes and Catalogs with data comprising:
- Activity, Current Rooms & Events and Pace Marts, including a Catering Pace Sub-Mart;
- Pace, Status Change Pace, Activity, Current Events on the Books, and Current Rooms on the Books Cubes; and
- Activity, Pace and Current Rooms and Events Catalogs.
- Booking User Defined Fields (UDFs) that are collectable and storable from Delphi (excluding Multi-Select UDFs), with additional Date, Text and Revenue UDFs.
