Newmarket International's suite of solutions projected to save the Stratosphere Casino Hotel $160,000+ annually in improved efficiencies
Investment in DelphiTM v9.1.2 and NetXchangeTM MeetingBroker expected to deliver a quick payback measured in months

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. / LAS VEGAS — When it comes to investing in technology, Newmarket International Inc.'s DelphiTM v9.1.2 and NetXchangeTM MeetingBroker are "sure bets," according to Rob Kosier, Executive Director of Information Technology for the Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower, and its smaller sister properties in Las Vegas, Arizona Charlie's - Boulder and Arizona Charlie's - Decatur.

Kosier said one reason the Stratosphere Casino Hotel is deploying Delphi v9.1.2 and NetXchange MeetingBroker is because the payback will be measured in months and the ROI could easily be 30 times greater than the solutions' purchase price.

"We needed to make the move to Delphi v9.1.2 for optimal technology standardization across our properties and departments," Kosier said. "We had been operating with a legacy version of Delphi since 1996, so we already knew the basic features of this wonderful application and the proven ROI it delivers.

"We expect a quick payback on these investments — one that likely will be measured in months," he said. "These applications could easily save us tens of thousands of dollars each year in new efficiencies — and that doesn't even factor in the significant additional new business opportunities we'll gain through improved lead distribution and sharing capabilities and real-time follow through."

Kosier said he has personally evaluated other competitive Sales & Catering applications and that Delphi is in a class of its own.

Pam Brodine, Director of Sales for the Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower, said Delphi automated Sales & Catering software and Newmarket International's NetXchange MeetingBroker electronic lead-sharing solution will empower the property's staff to better sell and serve its 2,444 guestrooms, nearly 10,000 square feet of meeting space, 600-person theater, seven restaurants, and a casino with 1,500+ slot machines and 99 game tables.

"We're considering building a convention center that would span some 50,000 square feet in the next few years," Brodine said. The Stratosphere Casino Hotel & Tower plans to take full advantage of Newmarket International's Computer Based Training (CBT) modules to keep Delphi and NetXchange MeetingBroker training costs and related travel expenses at a minimum.
