Newmarket International launches Asian publisher partnership with PR-Events Limited
4 October 2001

Portsmouth, NH- October 5, 2001- Newmarket International announced today a signed agreement with PR-Events Limited. PR-Events, a Hong Kong based service supplier to the public relations industry will employ Newmarket's NetXchange Meeting Broker to enhance their publishing services.

" We are excited our inaugural publisher partnership in Asia is with a company that is focused on delivering innovative solutions and addressing productivity issues within their market," stated Steve Stearns, Director of Sales for Newmarket's Singapore office. "PR-Events will enjoy increased efficiencies and improved e-RFP response time by utilizing Meeting Broker."

"Meeting Broker provides the exact type of service we require," stated Ulrik von Luttichau, Director of PR-Events Limited. "In order to overcome the significant bottleneck in the way PR companies traditionally do business we needed a service like Meeting Broker. Meeting Broker allows for the most effective means for PR-Events customers to generate e-RFPs to respond to the needs of their client. Additionally, Meeting Broker provides broad coverage of numerous venues throughout Asia."

PR-Events, which will launch its services in Hong Kong on October 5, 2001, has a number of programs that solve specific problem areas in standard PR firms. One of the most critical is the efficient use of time spent coordinating venues for press conferences and similar media events. " PR companies lose a tremendous amount of man-hours phoning hotels to find the best venue for their events. Equally, hotels are losing critical sales time responding to these calls. By automating the RFP process, the PR firm will spend more time working for the client, and the hotels' sales staff will focus on more significant revenue generating business opportunities." Luttichau added.

PR-Events also provides services to PR firms for avoiding event conflicts, client management, media relations, service supplier relations and major event management. PR-Events plans to continue to build its partnership with Newmarket through rapid expansion of its services to cities throughout Asia.
