IdeaS EMEA Team Announces Recent Installs - Includes Upcoming Integration WIth Fidelio Opera PMS For The Westin Singapore

- Raffles Hotel group in Singapore announces selection of IDeaS as its revenue management partner. The installation project of e-yield at the famous Vier Jahreszeiten in Hamburg has already started. Another upcoming hotel scheduled for IDeaS implementation is the 2000 room Westin Hotel in Singapore which is running the Fidelio OPERA Front Office / PMS system.
- Kempinski Hotels continue e-yield installations. New projects include the Adlon and Bristol Kempinski Hotels in Berlin, both members of Leading Hotels of the World.
- Elysée Hotel goes with IDeaS revenue management system. The most popular business hotel in Hamburg is currently implementing IDeaS e-yield solution with a live date scheduled for summer.
- The 1000 room Parker Meridien Hotel in New York, member of the Forte Hotel group and their US flagship has gone live with IDeaS e-yield solution.
- Steigenberger Hotels AG begin roll out of IDeaS after successful completion of pilots in Hamburg and Frankfurt Airport. Projects for the installation of e-yield have been launched at Steigenberger Hotels in Frankfurt, Berlin, Baden-Baden, Stuttgart and Düsseldorf.
- IDeaS wins "2001 World Class Solution Award" in the category Business Solutions and Analytic Applications by Data Management Review. Former winners include companies like IBM, Compaq, NCR or Seagate.
- The UK based Hanover hotel group and IDeaS sign letter of intent for next generation ASP based yield management system. Within the project Hanover will run one centralized Central Reservation / Front Office reservation system with IDeaS Central e-yield solution for all of their 14 hotels. Live date is scheduled for late summer.
- Mandarin Oriental appoints IDeaS as its revenue management partner. As per press release Mandarin and IDeaS have very successfully completed the pilot installation at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Hong Kong. e-yield installations have started or are scheduled for 2001 in Mandarin Hotels in New York, San Francisco, Hawaii, Kuala Lumpur, London and Geneva.
- IDeaS EAME significantly increases number of service personnel in the region. Following the huge success of IDeaS in Europe IDeaS has hired various people in the areas consulting, installation, training, account and project management as well as IDeaL Care Services. New staff members include former managers from Bass, Inter-Continental and other known hotel groups.
Over the past 12 months, many leading hotel groups such as Bass Hotels and Resorts & Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt International, Mandarin Oriental, Millennium Copthorne, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, Blue Band Hotels, Kempinski Hotels & Resorts and Raffles have decided to install and roll-out the next generation e-yield system of IDeaS throughout EAME. With automated decision processes based on scientific forecasting approaches, these hotels maximize revenues for their transient business, group business and now also can add significant value to their long term contracted business.
