IDeaS And Serenata Complete Their Integration Project Between Ideas´ Yield Management Solution And Serenata's Internet Booking Engine

Munich, Germany - June 13, 2000 -- IDeaS, Inc., and Serenata Intraware have announced their completed integration project between e-yieldTM, IDeaS' yield management solution, and the Serenata BookHotelTM Internet booking engine. The project initially started due to the high demand of the rapidly increasing user base of IDeaS and Serenata systems throughout the world. This resulted in one of the most advanced interfaces between Internet reservation booking and yield management systems. In combination with the Serenata BookHotelTM software and Front Office systems, hotel chains and individual hotels can now have their Internet-published rates instantly yielded by way of the e-yield solution. Customers inquiring for hotel reservations via the Internet will be immediately provided with all available rates opened by Serenata BookHotelTM. The rate availability is based upon bid prices or hurdle rates that are calculated by e-yieldTM and updated continuously every day.

An additional unique selling point is that there are no commission fees for transactions with Serenata BookHotelTM.
