PORTSMOUTH, NH--Newmarket International, whose Delphi software is synonymous with hospitality sales and event automation, is using this week's HITEC trade show in Dallas to spark the industry's shift towards Open Standards in B2B e-commerce.
With its new Internet service, The Forum is featuring representatives from AHMA's Hospitality Industry Technology Integration Standards Advisory Committee (HITIS), the OpenTravel Alliance (OTA), Microsoft Corp., developers of the BizTalk framework, top hospitality IT professionals, and leaders in sales automation, yield management, and meeting planner Web sites. Each Forum participant will share their vision for hospitality B2B e-commerce and the role Open Standards will play in enabling businesses to integrate all operations with the Web. Representing Newmarket is Steve Giblin, the company's President & CEO. "Now that the Internet has changed the way our industry does business, we need to come together as a community to lay the groundwork for how to make the Web more efficient and profitable for everyone," Giblin said.
