Newmarket International, Inc. today announced it has linked the Delphi(R) systems at ClubCorp Resorts at Barton Creek, Texas, and Pinehurst, North Carolina, to Global SFA 7.2(tm), Newmarket's latest enterprise sales automation application. The link constitutes the first-ever implementation of a fully distributed hospitality sales automation environment, in which a global sales database replicates to property-level sales automation systems.
Global SFA 7.2 uses advanced replication and data warehousing technologies to distribute leads and account information across enterprise networks from a single Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 database. This global sales database is updated automatically when bookings are created at the property level, so each linked property receives and shares consistent, up-to-date information. ClubCorp Resorts houses its global sales database in Austin, Texas, and will eventually link a total of five resort properties to Global SFA. "Delphi has greatly enhanced our group sales efforts, and we feel linking our sites to the Global SFA database will give us greater access to the vital information we need for a top-down view of our entire global sales efforts, " said Cathy Pate, vice president of sales and marketing for ClubCorp Resorts. Newmarket's 7.2 product line, which includes Global SFA, Delphi, and Delphi Multi-Property Edition, all utilizing SQL Server 7.0, will be launched in November.
