Newmarket International's CVBreeze Automates Sales, Marketing, and Membership for Edmonton Tourism -- A Division of Economic Development Edmonton

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Newmarket International announced today that Edmonton Tourism (a division of Economic Development Edmonton) has signed an agreement to automate business operation with CVBreeze, Newmarket's department-unifying sales and marketing solution designed especially for CVBs.

Edmonton, Alberta is the third Canadian city to install CVBreeze this year, and the first destination to automate both its CVB and its main exhibitor venue, the Shaw Conference Centre, with Newmarket solutions. "Automating both organizations facilitates integrated, citywide collaboration in marketing Edmonton," said Tim Kinsella, Newmarket's director of sales and marketing for destination products.

Edmonton embodies Newmarket's "Max Your Metro" vision. When a city automates its convention center, CVB, and area hotels, vital information on visitors -- from spending habits to how they spend their time -- can be captured, analyzed, tracked, and used to research and execute an array of marketing initiatives, while enhancing business to business communication and knowledge sharing.

CVBreeze uses a Microsoft SQL Server database and seamless integration to standard business applications using leading edge technologies to enhance work-flow and communication between a CVB's many departments. Modules for membership, convention sales, accounting, and reporting are built into the program and interconnected.
