PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Newmarket International, Inc., the leading provider of sales and marketing automation software for the worldwide hospitality industry, today announced the appointment of Paul Rantilla as Director of Sales. Most recently, Rantilla oversaw Newmarket's Singapore office, the headquarters for its Asia Pacific operations. He now returns to corporate headquarters in Portsmouth to lead the company's 30-person sales force in the sale of its new 7.2 product line of products designed for hotel cluster selling and global networking. Rantilla reports to Newmarket president Steve Giblin. "Paul epitomizes the reasons Newmarket has been successful," Giblin said. "He began here as an installer, learned the technology inside and out, and then seized the opportunity to integrate his sales background to further his goals in concert with the goals of the company." Rantilla joined Newmarket in 1994, and has served as a training manager and as regional sales director for the Southeast US and Caribbean. Prior to Newmarket, Rantilla worked in sales for IDS Financial Services (Portland, Maine). Newmarket International, Inc. is the world leader in sales automation software for the hospitality industry, offering scalable solutions and consulting services for hotels, convention centers, and convention and visitors bureaus.
