BRECKENRIDGE, CO. -- After realizing significant room revenue increases from two of its resorts located in Colorado, Vail Resorts, Inc. announced that it will implement the IDeaL/YIELD system at Vail Beaver Creek Resort Properties just after the start of the 1999/2000 ski season.
The IDeaL/YIELD system will assist the yield professionals from Vail Resorts to optimize room revenues from 252 condos and two hotels located in the Beaver Creek Resort area. This will bring the total number of rooms at Vail Resorts impacted by the IDeaL/YIELD system to more than 1,800. The system was introduced at the Keystone Resorts in 1996 and later expanded in 1998 to include the Great Divide Lodge at Breckenridge Resort. Vail Resorts receives more than $1,000,000 in incremental revenues, which are directly attributed to the IDeaL/YIELD system. According to Mainzer, the amount of revenue increases attributed to the system at the existing locations definitely contributed to the decision to now include it at Beaver Creek.
