MINNEAPOLIS, MN, March 30, 1999 - IDeaS, Inc., the leading yield management supplier to the hospitality industry, has announced that its yield management system, IDeaL/YIELD, has positively impacted revenues at the Accor managed property, Novotel Twin Waters Resort on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia. Installed in 1998, the system's contribution to the hotel's room revenues have exceeded IDeaS' stated goals with a very encouraging set of results. IDeaS has used the IDeaL/RESULTS system to isolate and measure the increase in yield. This allows IDeaS' clients to understand the contribution the yield system is making to the business, separate from market demand, pricing, market mix, or other factors that constantly affect Revenue Per Available Room (REVPAR).
