Dubai, UAE – Shiji, the global leader in hospitality technology, announced today that, its official entry into Pakistan with the successful go-live of Daylight PMS at Pearl Continental Hotel Rawalpindi, part of the Hashoo Group portfolio. This milestone makes Pearl Continental Rawalpindi the first hotel in Pakistan to operate on Shiji’s cloud-native Daylight PMS, marking a significant step forward in the country’s hospitality digital transformation and setting a new benchmark for guest-centric, secure hotel operations.

The project was delivered through close collaboration between Shiji and Hashoo Group teams and followed an intensive transition period. This included detailed system mapping, scripting, rate code configuration, and hands-on operational training across hotel departments to ensure continuity of service and a smooth cutover to the new platform.

This project reshaped our understanding of what a Property Management System truly represents. Daylight PMS is not just a software change; it is the operational heartbeat of the hotel. As part of its broader market entry strategy, Shiji will also introduce Infrasys POS to Pakistan, extending its cloud-based technology ecosystem to support complex, multi-outlet food and beverage operations. Together, Daylight PMS and Infrasys POS provide an integrated, end-to-end platform designed around the guest profile, enabling hotels to improve operational visibility, service consistency, and overall guest experience while maintaining strong security and privacy standards.
