CHICAGO - Caroline Y. Chan of Intel Corporation and Dan Cockerell, former VP of Disney's Magic Kingdom will give keynote presentations at the 2019 HTNG Insight Summit meeting on August 5-7 at The Chateaux, Deer Valley in Park City, UT.

Caroline Y. Chan is Intel Corporation's vice president of business incubation and general manager of the Data Center Group. She is responsible for driving new services running across the network infrastructure, working closely with network service cloud service providers and enterprises.

Chan and her team will lead pathfinding of advanced technology solutions that are enabled and accelerated by 5G capabilities such as AI, machine learning, blockchain, data analytics, immersive media, cloud gaming, and others.

Dan Cockerell first joined Disney in 1989 as a participant of the Walt Disney World's College Program, where he worked in resort parking and front desk guest services at hotels. Upon graduation from Boston University, he was selected into Disney's Management Trainee Program and joined the task force to open Disneyland Paris.

After five years in France, Cockerell returned to Walt Disney World Florida where he held successive executive positions in both resort hotels and theme parks. These roles grew from General Manager of the All Star Resort to later becoming VP of Disney's Epcot Center theme park, followed by serving as VP of Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park, and culminating in becoming VP of the Magic Kingdom theme park. Responsible for daily operations of the largest theme park in the world, Cockerell oversaw the experiences of 12,000 cast members and over 20 million annual visitors.

In addition to general sessions, a number of HTNG workgroups will also meet to continue their work on topics of 5G, business analytics, fiber optics, guest data, integration, IoT, staff alert technology, payments, Wi-Fi and more.
