TraknProtect Unveils New Staff Alert Button with Enhanced Design and Expanded Functionality

Chicago and Minneapolis - HITEC Booth #3017 - TraknProtect, a pioneer of location-based technology purpose-built for the hotel industry, is revealing its newly enhanced employee safety button at HITEC 2019, taking place June 17-20 in Minneapolis. The TraknProtect Version 2.0 safety button has been completely re-engineered from the ground up to offer a host of valuable new features, including better visual reporting, increased functionality and improved monitoring capabilities to provide a higher standard of safety for hotel employees.

Created with extensive feedback from users, and working collaboratively with industry and trade association partners, the new safety button has been designed to be both durable and reliable, considering the wear and tear caused by daily proximity to water, cleaning products and general use. The button is also equipped with new safety enhancements including a vibration mechanism, which can assure users that the device has been triggered, even if concealed in a pocket or otherwise hidden.

TraknProtect 2.0 also features improved data analytics with the new safety button providing daily reporting on its battery health, in addition to an onboard LED light indicating the device status.

"Version 2.0 of our product has been specifically designed to take employee safety to the next level," said TraknProtect Chief Technical Officer, Tim Hansen. "The increased functionality of the unit, along with the improved feedback mechanism to support the button both serve our key mission, which is to provide a higher standard of safety for the employee carrying it."

TraknProtect 2.0 will be on display at Booth #3017 at HITEC 2019 in Minneapolis, June 17-20, and the company will also be presenting in the E20X Competition and conducting demonstrations at Booth #3 in the E20X Innovation Lab.
