The Oslofjord Convention Center is the largest conference hall in Norway. As well as providing a convention centre, media centre and additional meeting facilities, the conference campus also offers overnight accommodation for thousands of guests. On the shores of the beautiful Oslofjord, the convention centre attracts a wide variety of events and is well-known throughout Northern Europe.
As part of a massive development programme, the Oslofjord Convention Center will add 1600 rooms to their hotel and cottage accommodation. In line with this development, Oslofjord Convention Center have chosen to install Otrum Enterprise interactive TV software throughout all guest accommodation. Mr. Reidar Vårdal, IT Manager at Oslofjord Operations, comments "We are undergoing a major expansion and it was important to choose a supplier that could meet our needs now and in the future. Otrum's focus on guest communication proved to be the right fit for us - with a potential of 9,000 guests at any time, it is vital to be able to broadcast messages to all guests and also to communicate online with specific guest groups."
