They can choose to go straight to their room and check in with their phone or they can ask for assistance at reception. It's their choice. And SALTO mobile key means goodbye to any lost key hassles. Developed exclusively in-house by SALTO, SALTO mobile key works with standard SALTO locks and software. It is 100% secure as it cannot be duplicated like a mechanical key and encrypted data transfer between the smart phone and the lock provides secure authentication. The SALTO mobile key comes in three versions enabling hotels to select the best model to suit their business.

SALTO mobile key Basic uses SALTO Software to directly send keys manually. Guests download the SALTO personalized app direct to their smart phone to access their room. SALTO mobile key Basic+ uses the hotels PMS software to send the key. Guests then download the SALTO personalized app direct to their smart phone to access their room. Finally, SALTO mobile key Advanced enables the SALTO app to be integrated into the hotel's own app. Guests can make their own reservation and check-in online using the hotel's own app and will then be sent their SALTO personalized app automatically direct to their smart phone so they can access their room.
This provides a better guest experience with online check-in, instant extended stay and instant room change capabilities. For the hotel the technology minimizes lost key expense, provides personalized hotel promotion opportunities direct to the guest and positions their business as a smart hotel that is technologically cutting-edge.
