The Waterside Hotel and Leisure Club implements PMS, EPoS and distribution solutions from Xn Hotel Systems
12 August 2013

The Waterside Hotel and Leisure Club is a 46-bedroom contemporary hotel in Didsbury, Manchester. The hotel boasts impressive leisure facilities, following a £1.1m refurbishment, and also caters for weddings, meetings and events.

Recognising the crucial role of technology in revenue management, Mel Darwell, the hotel’s Sales & Revenue Manager, was tasked with researching the PMS market and selecting an appropriate solution. Sophisticated rate management features, comprehensive reservations capabilities and extensive connectivity to distribution platforms were the key drivers. Xn Hotel Systems was selected to implement the protel PMS and Xn globalRES distribution platform. The company’s dotPOS EPoS system was also purchased.

“I have had the privilege of working with most of the major Property Management Systems in past roles, including protel”, stated Darwell. “Xn presented their portfolio of solutions and I was impressed by the level of functionality and integration they offered. We are delighted to work with Xn as we implement the next phase of growth for the hotel.”
