Dallas – August 1, 2013 – VingCard Elsafe, the global leader in hospitality security and part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, announces the appointment of Nicolas Aznar as president of Latin America and the Caribbean, effective August 1. Aznar will be based out of the company’s regional offices in São Paulo and will report directly to company President, Tim Shea.

Aznar joins VingCard Elsafe following 13 years with MICROS Systems, Inc., most recently holding the title of Managing Director LA South for MICROS-Retail Division. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Anthropology and Information Technology for Business from Universidad de Buenos Aires, and is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Aznar is responsible for all VingCard Elsafe operations in Latin American and the Caribbean. Reporting to him are Oscar Granados, general manager for Mexico; Renato Matsuda, regional director for Latin America and the Caribbean; and Alexandre Giovannetti, regional sales manager for Brazil.
