The latest incarnation of GUESTROOM 20X will make its debut at HITEC 2012, the world's largest hospitality technology show, taking place June 25^th - 28th at the Baltimore Convention Center.

VingCard Elsafe is the only locking provider to be selected for inclusion in this year's GUESTROOM 20X. This is the second consecutive GUESTROOM 20X to feature VingCard Elsafe products, following the 2010 version of the model guestroom that included the Sentinel II by Elsafe line of safes.

The ASSA ABLOY NFC Mobile Keys solution by VingCard Elsafe allows hotel guests to check-in remotely via computers or web-enabled mobile devices and bypass the front desk at check-in by using their NFC-enabled mobile phones as virtual guestroom keys. The solution securely delivers to the guest's mobile device their designated hotel room numbers and digital encrypted hotel keys. Upon arrival, the guest may bypass the front desk and proceed directly to the room. The guestroom is unlocked by simply holding the phone near an access reader. Security features prevent unauthorized parties from using lost or stolen mobile devices to access rooms, and hotel managers can add, remove or update access rights for any users instantly, regardless of whether the door locks are online or offline. The solution works with existing RFID locks, including VingCard Elsafe's Signature RFID locking solution, without the need to add any new hardware.

VingCard Elsafe's other GUESTROOM 20X entry, the Infinity II by Elsafe hotel safes, are RF-online capable. Working in conjunction with VISIONLINE by VingCard—a networking platform that connects standalone electronic locks and other guestroom devices and systems via central property server—Infinity II by Elsafe safes can be monitored remotely by hotel staff. This allows guests to be alerted of belongings still remaining in the safe upon checkout, as well as providing a detailed access record in the event of property loss or theft. The UL-listed Infinity II by Elsafe line of hotel safes employ the latest locking technology, including a hook-style interlocking system, an anti-tamper labyrinth, a solid cold-pressed curved steel door, and extended solid steel hinges permanently arc-welded to the door. In addition to being the most technologically advanced hotel safe on the market, Infinity II by Elsafe's futuristic neon blue backlit display makes it an aesthetic fit for GUESTROOM 20X, as well.
