(Bob) Aquilino as President, Americas. In his new role, Aquilino will be responsible for leading all VingCard Elsafe activities in North America, Latin America and the Caribbean. In collaboration with the executive management team, he will provide strategic leadership to accelerate the company's growth in these key markets. Aquilino succeeds Rune Venas, who, together with his management team, has successfully laid a solid foundation for VingCard Elsafe in the Americas over the last three years. Rune will return to his homeland of Norway to take on a global business development role for the company. Before joining VingCard Elsafe, Aquilino played key leadership roles in the general management, marketing and sales of several highly successful international consumer brands, including Pepsi, Frito-Lay, Kidde and Invisible Fence. Throughout his career, he has proven his skills at accelerating performance, team building and improving shareholder value for small- to mid-cap companies in consumer and technology products, as well as business services. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of MorrisAnderson, a Chicago-based corporate financial consultancy. In previous positions as a division president at United Technologies, Inc. Bob led Onity, Inc. on two occasions and Kidde Consumer and Commercial, as part of Chubb Fire and Security. He was responsible for accelerating revenue growth, consolidating operations and significantly improving profit performance. Earlier in his career, Bob spent 16 years with PepsiCo in various domestic and international assignments, including VP of Global Business Development for Frito Lay and general manager for Pepsi fountain and vending for southern Europe. Aquilino holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of the Young Presidents' Organization and serves as a guest speaker and mentor in the Leadership Development program at University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler School of Business. Aquilino will report directly to the global president of VingCard Elsafe, and will be based at the company's corporate headquarters in Richardson, Texas.
