AC Hotels by Marriott in Spain Selects MICROS OPERA Solution and MICROS Simphony POS for Entire Estate
Integrated solution will be centrally hosted in the MICROS Frankfurt Datacenter

MICROS-Fidelio Ireland Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of MICROS Systems, Inc., (NASDAQ: MCRS), and leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is pleased to announce that newly formed AC Hotels by Marriott has selected the MICROS OPERA solution for its 91 properties located throughout Spain, Portugal, and Italy. The solution includes Property Management and Back Office along with MICROS Simphony Enterprise Restaurant Point-of-Service. The integrated MICROS solution will be centrally hosted in the MICROS Frankfurt Datacenter and delivered using cloud computing technology. The deployment will begin in May 2011 and conclude by the end of the calendar year.

MICROS OPERA and MICROS Simphony provide AC Hotels by Marriott and the Spanish and Mediterranean markets with a powerful solution that satisfies local fiscal and legal requirements.
