KABA Lodging, the provider of Saflok and ILCO electronic locks, inked a three-year agreement with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. The contract extends to Starwood’s owned, managed and franchised properties in North America and other markets. KABA was selected via a competitive RFP bidding process.

"KABA has designed attractive custom door levers and readers specifically to Starwood’s requirements, and meets our specifications for RFID and on-line locking systems. They are positioned to be compatible with mobile check-in strategies." The contract covers U.S markets— including Puerto Rico and Guam—as well as Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean, and benefits Starwood branded hotels undergoing conversion, renovation, or new construction, including the Element and aloft brands.
