The 301-room property boasts of an executive health club with a gym, swimming pool, massages and Turkish steam rooms as well as a shopping arcade directly below the property. The executive business center can accommodate up to 1500 persons and the hotel also features four international restaurants, two bars and “Taste of Okura,” a culinary center where guests can learn to cook their own food. Located in the heart of the city, on the Amstel Canal, the property is close to the financial, cultural and entertainment districts of Amsterdam and is an ideal destination for the business or leisure traveler. “As one of Europe’s largest historical cities, Amsterdam draws a large, diverse group of people,” said Niek Hammer, rooms director at the Hotel Okura Amsterdam. “Our property is able to offer the most updated amenities, while still offering the charming appeal of a hotel rich with the city’s history. Signature RFID contactless electronic door locks offer highly reliable security features and provide unprecedented convenience and ease-of-operation for hoteliers and hotel guests alike. The Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) locks allow for contactless guest room entry and are compatible with next generation NFC cell phones.
