Elysian Selects Comprehensive Solution Suite from Agilysys
New Chicago Luxury Property Selects Agilysys for Software, Infrastructure Services10 March 2009

CLEVELAND -- Agilysys, Inc. (Nasdaq: AGYS), a leading provider of innovative information technology and hospitality software solutions, announced today that Elysian, a new ultra-luxury hotel in Chicago, has selected a comprehensive suite of hospitality solutions to enhance efficiency and streamline operations. The Elysian will implement the Visual One software suite, InfoGenesis POS™, Eatec Solutions inventory and procurement system and Guest eMarketing (GeM) correspondence and marketing management solution, all from Agilysys. Agilysys also is providing information technology infrastructure services for the property, including implementation of a storage area network and virtualization services. The Elysian, scheduled to open in early summer 2009, will feature 188 suites and 52 condominium residences.

The Elysian will implement the following solutions from Agilysys:

Visual One Software Suite, including the Visual One property management system, a comprehensive property management solution that offers a wide range of features and functionality, including front office operations, guest history, housekeeping, reservations management and more. The Elysian will use the Visual One Accounting System to manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and check reconciliation; the Visual One Club Management System to create health club memberships and monitor facilities usage; and the Visual One Condo Accounting System to manage condominium rentals. The property also will implement the Visual One Sales & Catering System to manage meeting room and banquet operations; and the Visual One Spa Management System to track employee work schedules, make spa appointments and send e-mail confirmations to guests.

InfoGenesis POS™, an enterprise-ready point-of-sale solution that combines powerful reporting and configuration capabilities with an easy-to-use touch-screen terminal application. Features include real-time reporting capabilities; advanced sorting, filtering and grouping options; and encryption tools that ensure the security of guest data. The Elysian will use InfoGenesis POS to manage its restaurant, bar and room service operations.

Eatec Solutions, a full-featured inventory and procurement software solution designed especially for the foodservice and hospitality industries. Along with its core purchasing, inventory, recipe, forecasting, production and sales analysis functions, the system also offers modules for catering, restaurant and retail. The modular software structure enables customers to construct the exact set of features they need to monitor inventory and optimize production. The Elysian will use Eatec Solutions to monitor food & beverage and retail inventory.

Guest eMarketing (GeM), a feature-rich guest correspondence and marketing management solution that enables HTML-based correspondence, surveys and marketing campaigns. Using GeM, Elysian can build interactive relationships with guests and increase sales and profitability through highly targeted e-mail marketing blasts that are fast, direct and cost-effective.
