Guestline Ltd, the leading UK supplier of software solutions to the global hospitality industry, has announced the launch of RoomLynx its new inventory aggregator, channel manager and distribution solution for hotels, which will be showcased at Hostec-Europe (Stand H1225), ExCel, London, from February 18-21st 2008. RoomLynx streamlines the channel management process by actively connecting to a hotels chosen next generation seamless Central Reservation System (CRS), such as Synxis, to provide global distribution system (GDS) connectivity. Additionally, it will manage exposure to the leading online travel agencies (OTA’s) including Booking.com and Expedia. By controlling rate and inventory availability from a single real-time source, the need to manually allocate rooms and update rates or make manual adjustments on an individual channel basis is eliminated. Unlike other distribution solutions in the marketplace RoomLynx manages availability in real-time, if more rooms are sold locally than anticipated, RoomLynx automatically adjusts channel allocations. The reverse is also true, if more rooms are sold via an online channel, RoomLynx will adjust local availability. RoomLynx also provides seamless integration into a hotels property management system (PMS) so that bookings, regardless of the source, flow directly into the PMS without the need for time consuming manual data entry and allocation.
