MotorCity Casino, first opened in 1999, is undergoing a $300 million expansion featuring a 17-story, 400 unit hotel, additional gaming space, a premium spa, convention and banquet space, theatre, retail and dining. The hotel is scheduled to open in November of 2007 with an emphasis on extraordinary guest service and high-tech, ‘future-retro’ style. SMS|World will provide direct online reservations. Self-service check-in and check-out will be powered by SMS|Kiosk. PAR Springer-Miller’s SpaSoft Spa Management software will be installed for the Spa operations. Advanced XML-based interfaces to a variety of third party technology solutions will also be deployed utilizing the SMS|Diplomat connectivity engine. .
