COLUMBIA, Md. | MICROS Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: MCRS), a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is pleased to announce that Carlson Restaurants Worldwide(R) has selected MICROS's mymicros.net solution for its T.G.I. Friday's(R) restaurant brand. Beginning April 1, 2007, MICROS centrally hosted mymicros.net application was seamlessly installed at all 300 company-owned United States locations within four brief days, making this large-scale installation one of MICROS's most expeditious and successful deployments.
The deployment of mymicros.net has provided T.G.I. Friday's restaurants with a reliable means to monitor its sales volume and manage other key restaurant operations. The solution offers a content-rich Internet portal that includes access to hosted applications for point-of-sale, data warehousing, business intelligence and other business applications and content.
