COLUMBIA, Md. | MICROS Systems, Inc., a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality and retail industries, is pleased to announce that Wynn Resorts (Macau), S.A., a subsidiary of Wynn Resorts, Limited, has chosen MICROS OPERA Enterprise as its hotel solution with the OPERA Property Management (PMS) and OPERA Gaming integration to its IGT casino system, and MICROS 9700 Hospitality Management System (HMS) for its food and beverage operations. The system went live on September 6, 2006, when the resort opened its doors. Wynn Las Vegas also opened its doors with MICROS OPERA and 9700 HMS in April 2005.

The products were installed in March 2006 to allow ample time for configuration, testing, and training. Wynn Macau, the first major hotel casino resort in Asia with MICROS Gaming integration, successfully opened its doors at midnight September 6, 2006. The stunning opening ceremony for hundreds of invited VIP guests displayed exotic musical fountains with color and fire, and a breath-taking fireworks display that lit up the entire Wynn Macau building and night sky. The ceremony culminated in Wynn's signature written across the entire building in fireworks.
