There is also a case study seminar on Tuesday 21st February at 13-45 given by Craig Warner, The Technology and Process Manager for Wyboston Lakes, a Visual One user and this is entitled: - 'A paper free management team - how we did it'. The seminar will be on how Wyboston Lakes have introduced a company Intranet over the last year, with emphasis on how they have moved from a very paper orientated management team to a now paper free management team. All their figures are produced automatically and electronically. The traditional management reports which previously comprised of a very thick and heavy bundle of spreadsheets and graphs etc. are now accessed via our Intranet, and Craig will show the system they have developed and how from a brief overview we can drill down to the detail in any area of our business. Then Craig will move on to the next generation tool and demonstrate how it will display the live data in a very unique and graphical way making it very easy for users of the system to focus on the performance of key areas in the business. By using VisualOne, Wyboston Lakes can access the data and view from one place how they are performing right now, yesterday, last week, last month or how they think they will perform next week or month.
