SOUTHLAKE, Texas | SynXis announced today that they have been chosen by Disneyland Resort Hotels(R) as its new distribution partner for the three resort hotels in Anaheim, Calif. They will begin using SynXis at the end of 2005. The Control Center (a feature of the SynXis RedX Distribution Management System) gives Disneyland Resort powerful distribution controls it needs to effectively manage sales of their product through multiple distribution channels and quickly react to changes in market demand. SynXis is constructing a new interface between RedX and Disneyland Resort's property management system which will give the resort improved efficiencies so it can continue to concentrate on its core business of providing a unique experience to their guests. "We were looking for a true partner to reduce costs and increase efficiencies," said Jamy Nigri, manager, eCommerce Distribution, Product Development and Travel Operations at the Walt Disney Travel Company of California. "We are very selective when choosing a partner and we have been impressed with the SynXis product line, and their commitment to service. SynXis appears poised to take advantage of some trends in the travel industry, and we are prepared to partner with them on initiatives that give Disneyland Resort Guests the optimal experience." The uniquely themed Hotels of Disneyland Resort include Disney's Grand Californian Hotel(R), Disneyland(R) Hotel and Disney's Paradise Pier(R) Hotel where guests enjoy convenient access to the parks along with other benefits including park re-entry. Disneyland park is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary.
