Dallas, TX, SynXis, a Sabre Holdings (NYSE:TSG) company, announced it has added 600 new hotel properties so far this year, bringing the total property count in the system to well over 7,000. SynXis has added several new highly-popular hotels and chains to compliment its portfolio, including The Breakers Palm Beach, Larkspur Hospitality, several of the Outrigger Lodging Services properties, and 38 unique properties throughout the Aegean and Mediterranean regions. “We are seeing increased hotel bookings flowing through our system that reflect both new sales wins as well as a general hotel and travel industry recovery,” said Bill Nicholson, president and general manager, SynXis. “We have also recently implemented several initiatives with our account management team to help existing customers produce more bookings and that has also contributed in incremental revenue for their hotels.” In addition, the company announced that Lindner Hotels in Germany, recently added GDS connectivity, for several of their hotels, to their already existing SynXis relationship. “We have been with SynXis for over two years now using the Voice Agent system in our Central Reservations Office and it is fully integrated with our CRM, PMS and Yield Management Systems,” said Gunnar von Hagen with Lindner Hotels. “SynXis has proven that they understand the needs of a global hotel company and by adding the GDS channel to their system we achieve a true single image of inventory.” The SynXis team continues to focus on initiatives to grow globally. These include adding resource in the company’s European Headquarters location to provide enhanced support in that region, and augmenting the international capabilities of the SynXis reservation management system.
