Hotel Technology Next Generation

Visual One Systems have made their first sale in Denmark with the signing of the Nyborg Strand Hotel. The 290 bed roomed hotel have ordered the Visual One PMS, Sales and Catering, Point of Sale, Web Bookings and Accounts Receivable.

After working with an older Novell/Dos-based hotel application for numerous years they saw the need for a new and modern system to help them in their business. Although the old system was a good and stable product it did not give them the flexibility they were looking for.

“We wanted a quick, reliable and easily maintained system that utilized one database and interfaced with our other software and hardware solutions” said Poul Ove Juul, the Hotel Manager of the hotel.

“We spent months looking for systems in the marketplace and we settled for Visual One. It is a large system with all the facilities we need to be able to increase the control of our business and hopefully sell even more than we do today. We also expect to be able to simplify our operation with Visual One. One of our goals is that everything about a function, from the first sales call to the event itself, can be handled and organized through Visual One”, added Mr Juul.

“We have received professional and thorough help and support from the sulcus hospitality group (the Visual One Distributor in Scandinavia) and Visual One during the process. We have also been given the opportunity to ask other Visual One clients of their experience with the product. After very positive feedback from European colleagues and a site visit to the UK we have high expectations of the Visual One software solution”, concluded Mr Juul.
