DALLAS, TX - As part of the newly unified sales force for the four ASSA ABLOY Hospitality brands, John Foley, Vice President of Sales for the company, has appointed Dan Smith as Regional Sales Manager for the Upper Midwest. Dan's territory includes Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan.
Since joining the company in January 2000, Dan has represented VingCard locks in the North Central states and most recently, Elsafe electronic safes in the Midwest and North Central states. In his new position, Smith will be responsible for sales of all four ASSA ABLOY Hospitality brands, including Elsafe, Timelox, VingCard and INHOVA. He will also partner with sister companies in the ASSA ABLOY Group, to advise hotel clients on related security products, such as doors, frames and hardware. By representing the complete ASSA ABLOY Hospitality brand portfolio, Dan will assist the company's hotel clients with assembling the best possible combination of product solutions. With a highly successful 18-year career in sales, Smith has a consistent record of achievement in the hospitality industry, as well as wholesale, retail, institutional and distributor sales. He holds a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Wayne State University in Detroit, and is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
