RockSoft Hospitality Systems Ltd. has signed a Partnership Agreement with Visual One Systems, a leading Hotel software provider to offer its product suite of Hospitality software in Ireland.
Visual One Systems software includes Front Desk (PMS), with automatic delivery of reservations through the Irish Hotels Federations distribution channel
Visual One systems was founded in 1977 & is one of the original major suppliers of hospitality software. Visual One has 1500 sites worldwide & has well known customers including Sandals, Club Resorts, Pinehurst, Kiawah Island, Ocean Reef Resort, Seymours Hotels (Jersey) and the Marriot Palace in Malaysia.
In the early 1990's following market research - Philip Rock identified a gap in the market for more sophisticated & integrated systems and set about promoting the IGS Hotel system.
The IGS Hotel system quickly established itself as the market leader in Ireland.
The common thread between Visual One & IGS is the relationship between Mike Gadbury - Managing Director Visual One (Europe) & Dave Burroughs - President of Visual One Systems in the USA, which goes back over 18 years.
Mike & Dave achieved major success together in the 80's and 90's when Mike became a distributor of the IGS Hotel system eventually buying it outright in the UK and becoming a market leader before selling it on to Softbrands.

Philip has been involved in the hotel sector for nearly 20 years, graduating with a B.Sc. (Hospitality Management) from Dublin's Institute of Technology, he has worked as the IT & Revenue Manager for the London Tara Hotel, an 800 bedded property. When Hotels computer systems were in their infancy, Philip worked alongside software vendors developing integrated systems from Conference & Banqueting, Guest History, Sales & Marketing programs and later with Yield Management systems.
