The MICROS Restaurant Enterprise System (RES) 3000 is a comprehensive suite of integrated applications that helps build success through every level of operation, from ensuring that each customer receives the right order on time, to controlling prices, menus and profits on a chain-wide basis. Modules within the RES 3000 platform include the MICROS 3700 Quick-Service Restaurant Point-Of-Sale system, Enterprise Management, Product Management, Labor Management, Forecasting, Financial Management, Kitchen Display System, Transaction Analyzer, and Guest Services Solution. Ian Campbell, Assistant Vice President of Finance for the Fuller Group, explained, "One of the main reasons we chose MICROS is the excellent reliability of the RES 3000 system. We tested the system extensively in several of our stores before deciding to install it everywhere, and it never crashes -- we don't have to worry about outages. Enterprise Management is making installation and training very easy, and allows our restaurant operators to manage their own systems more independently now. We don't need as many staff people to handle IT and support issues, which helps us run our business more efficiently." "RES 3000 offers many new capabilities for Earls and Joey Tomato's," stated Mark Scott, General Manager of MICROS Western Canada. "In addition to centralized management, the system offers the ability to process Internet IP based credit authorizations and enterprise wide gift card interfacing, enhancing both customer service and loyalty. As the Fuller Group's restaurants are held in very high regard within the Canadian hospitality community, their choice to work with MICROS reflects the strength and quality of the MICROS solutions. We look forward to serving both restaurants as they continue to grow in Canada and the U.S." About Earls and Joey Tomato's Mediterranean Grill Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Earls opened its first restaurant in 1982, with a goal of serving great food at a great price in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.
