, a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, has installed its fully integrated OPERA Enterprise Solution (OES) in 16 hotels owned by Boscolo Hotels, an exclusive chain based in Padova, Italy. This rapidly growing privately owned hotel group includes properties in Italy, France, Czech Republic and Hungary.
The MICROS OPERA Enterprise Solution (OES) is a fully integrated suite of products consisting of modules that can be easily added or expanded, allowing effective and easy deployment from smaller operations to global, multi-branded hotel chain environments. For Boscolo Hotels, MICROS has installed the OPERA Property Management System and modules for Sales & Catering, Central Reservations, Quality Management, OPERA Palm, Sales Force Automation and seamless GDS connectivity, as well as an Internet booking engine. All the hotel solutions are fully integrated and remotely hosted in the MICROS-Fidelio Data Center in Hamburg, Germany. In addition, the MICROS 3700 Point-of-Sale solution has been installed for restaurant management.
