"We pride ourselves on creating unique solutions for our customers based on the particular needs of each property," explained Jenny Kurdle, Vice President, Leisure and Entertainment Sales and Strategies for MICROS. "At The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas, for example, we are using our Win32 application software and Eclipse hardware to install multiple software on a single workstation, which allows the staff to access multiple hotel applications without the clutter of additional hardware. We have many installations in Ritz-Carlton hotels around the world and take an individualized approach to each one." The Windows® 2000 based 9700 HMS offers POS anywhere, with reporting and configuration everywhere. The 9700's Remote Management Console (RMC), which includes an easy to use Configurator, an HTML-based Report Writer, and the Autosequencer, offers a simplified and remotely accessible tool to manage the business from any location. Utilizing Microsoft SQL 2000 and XML, the new 9700 NetVuPoint advanced web reporting suite allows the entire enterprise to view actionable reports and graphs in real-time. The new web interface allows the user to query all transaction level detail, producing not only check images, but round-by-round journal entries that allow managers to identify sales trends, service issues and conduct full system audits. NetVuPoint also exports to HTML, Microsoft Excel, PDF or Text allowing the data to be easily shared.
