Golden Phoenix Hotel & Casino Selects MICROS 9700 Hospitality Management System as Part of $3.5 Million Renovation
Former Flamingo Reno Resort Set to Re-Open in Early December

COLUMBIA, Md., MICROS Systems, Inc. [NASDAQ: MCRS] , a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, is installing its 9700 Hospitality Management System at the lavishly renovated Golden Phoenix Hotel & Casino in Reno, Nevada. This expansive entertainment resort, which is owned and operated by Vista Hospitality Company, is replacing its former point-of- sale system as part of a $3.5 million renovation scheduled for completion in December of this year. The MICROS 9700 will also interface with the property's casino management system, providing guests with the ability to redeem points for dollars at any food and beverage outlet.
