, a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, has signed a major account sales agreement to install the MICROS Restaurant Enterprise System (RES) 3000 suite of software applications in all new and existing corporate-owned locations. There are currently 139 corporate-owned El Pollo Loco restaurants, as well as more than 160 franchisee-owned restaurants, located in California, Arizona, Nevada and Texas.
Included in all corporate El Pollo Loco store installations will be the MICROS 3700 Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Point-of-Sale application, as well as Labor Management, Financial Management, Product Management, Guest Services Solution, and Enterprise Management software modules that comprise the RES 3000 Suite. The corporate wide roll out is targeted to begin in August 2002.
