, a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, announced today that the Sheraton Petaluma Hotel at the Marina in Petaluma, CA, a Starwood franchisee, has gone live with the OPERA Property Management System (PMS) and OPERA Sales and Catering System (S&C) with full database integration to Starwood's Starlink Central Reservations System and Starwood's Preferred Guest (SPG) Systems.
The OPERA Solution provides the Sheraton Petaluma Hotel with a fully integrated property technology solution that shares customer profiles, groups, rates and packages, room and function space inventory, accounts receivables, cashiering and more to support both front office and sales operations. This integration provides the hotel with a single tool for making operating decisions, a unified approach to guest service and a consolidated reporting repository. The additional integration with Starwood's Starlink and SPG systems provide full two-way synchronization of reservations, groups, rate definitions, package definitions, and guest profiles. The hotel is also able to enroll new SPG members, update existing SPG member profiles and provide instant award redemption to SPG guests.
