The upscale business hotel chain meets the needs of corporate travel planners by providing them with special negotiated rates, which will now be book-able by travel agents and via the properties' Web sites using the new Book-A-Rez® confidential rate code feature. This is a more streamlined way for reservations personnel to accommodate the large number of specialized rates. Also available is SynXis' Group Block Management functionality. This feature allows event organizers to enter guest information through the group's Web site or through the hotel's site. Once information has been entered, rooming lists are stored from year to year and only need to be updated, which can be done electronically as well.
