CHIP Hospitality Launches Central Reservation Office with Web-Based SynXis Agent® - Expanded Services Provide Increased Capabilities and Distribution Channels to Non-branded Properties

MCLEAN, VA, Sept. 27 - SynXis Corporation, a leading provider of reservation management and distribution systems for the hospitality industry, announced today that CHIP Hospitality, one of Canada's top five hotel management companies, that manages independent and branded establishments, including Crowne Plaza, Marriott, and Best Western, throughout Canada, will provide increased distribution channel options through SynXis Agent® to 8 independent properties in Alberta and Saskatchewan representing over 1150 rooms.

SynXis Agent will provide CHIP's new Central Reservations Office (CRO), a turnkey reservation solution for four distribution channels: 1) toll-free call centers, 2) travel agent Global Distribution Systems, 3) Internet Distribution Systems for all major travel sites, and 4) each hotel's web sites. CRO and its technology will allow all channels to check availability, rates and reserve in "real-time".
