, a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, installed its MICROS-Fidelio Front Office Version 7 Property Management System (PMS) at the legendary New York's Hotel Pennsylvania, located in the heart of New York City. This installation at the 1700-room hotel is the largest in the world for the Front Office Version 7 product and is a key part of New York's Hotel Pennsylvania's recent multi- million-dollar renovation. New York's Hotel Pennsylvania also selected MICROS's OPUS 2 revenue management system, TopLine PROPHET. This software product allows a hotel to evaluate and manage room rates and availability with a goal of maximizing revenue among its various classes of businesses.
A full-feature Microsoft® Windows®-based PMS, Front Office Version 7 provides robust functionality with an easy-to-use graphical user interface along with the advantages of Windows® operation. Features include reservations, front desk, cashier, housekeeping, night audit, system set up and over 100 standard reports.
