McLean, VA, August 1, 2001 - SynXis Corporation, a leading provider of reservation and distribution systems for the hospitality industry, announced today that Colonial Williamsburg has selected SynXis Agent(tm) as the company to provide Global Distribution Systems for four of its five hotels. Located in Williamsburg, Virginia, Colonial Williamsburg is known worldwide as the nation's oldest and largest living history museum and encompasses five distinctive hotels including the historic Williamsburg Inn, three golf courses, two conference centers and extensive resort amenities.

SynXis Agent, a suite of Java(tm)-based Internet applications, will provide Colonial Williamsburg with seamless connectivity to the over 500,000 travel agents using the four major Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) to book hotel reservations worldwide.
