, a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, is installing its OPERA suite of property management products at eight luxury hotels owned and managed by Paris-based Concorde Hotels.
The MICROS OPERA solution has now been installed at Concorde's luxurious Hotel Crillon in Paris, Hotel de la Reine in Nancy, and Hotel de Louvre in Paris. The next installation is underway at Hotel Concorde Saint-Lazare, a 266-room Grand Hotel in the heart of the Paris business district, and four more properties will follow within the next year. The MICROS OPERA Enterprise Solution (OES) is a fully integrated suite of products consisting of modules that can be easily added or expanded allowing effective and easy deployment from smaller operations to global, multi-branded hotel chain environments. OES can be deployed in any size environment, from a single property with just Front Office to a large, full service hotel with Sales & Marketing, Catering, Revenue Management, Quality Management, Back Office, and Materials Management. In addition, the OPERA Enterprise Solution offers optional products for a hotel chain's corporate office, including a Central Reservations Systems for both centralized guestroom and function space sales, the Enterprise Information System, and the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) package, specifically designed for the hotel industry. "Concorde Hotels is a long-time customer of MICROS, having used our Fidelio Technologies Central Reservations System for more than three years," stated Vicente Martin, Managing Director of MICROS-Fidelio France. "Now that they have chosen our OPERA multi-property system, we are migrating each hotel's existing property management system to the OPERA system. We are confident that this solution will give Concorde Hotels the management controls and capabilities they desire for their properties." The system includes an Oracle load balancer to handle our multiple servers, so we are confident that the system can handle high volume once all properties are on line."
